Thorpe Park Resort have confirmed that the 2017 Fright Nights are set to be darker than ever before. The Walking Dead has been hinted at with the new imagery released on the park’s website & social media sites depicts its entrance in a state of ruin, with quarantine, police and detour signs in the visual, with graffiti wishing visitors “good luck”, tropes of a zombie apocalypse and AMC’s hit show The Walking Dead.
It also appears that a Trade Mark for The Walking Dead: Living Nightmare has been filed, Trade Mark No. UK00003244625. With the list of services only consisting of Class 41 – Theme Park Attraction, we can but only assume that this will be the name of Thorpe Park Resort’s Horror Maze.
Speaking to Attractions Management earlier this year, Thorpe Park Resort’s new divisional director Dominic Jones hinted at big plans for the park’s ever-popular Halloween season, promising to “bring Halloween back” in 2017.
