The Vamps Kick Back On The Beach And Sample An Insect Platter At Thorpe Park Resort

The Vamps took THORPE PARK Resort by storm the other day as thousands flocked to the venue to see the boy band of the moment take to the stage at ISLAND BEATS to kick start THORPE PARK Resort’s summer of music which runs until 30 August.

The band took to the beach at THORPE PARK Resort for a kick about with a football before heading to the I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! Maze which is home to family friendly Bushtucker Trials.

The band took no time in getting into the THORPE PARK spirit, and chowed down on some creepy crawly ‘treats’ at the Bush BBQ including locusts, crickets and meal worms.

The foursome headed onto the park to an explosive welcoming from Park visitors.

Hours before their packed out ISLAND BEATS show at THORPE PARK Resort, Brad revealed the new album is almost ready:

“We are 87% done on the album, just finishing touches to go. It [sounds] a bit more like Imagine Dragons or MGMT. A bit more alternative, but hopefully the fans enjoy it. It’s got a bit more of a rockier edge in parts, but we are really happy with it so far and looking forward to having it in our hands as an album…. its 80s synth in parts, which we quite like.”

“The album is due in November is the first single will be out about a month and a half before that.”

Up next on the ISLAND BEATS stage is Little Mix who will be performing on Friday 17 July. Other acts include:  Ella Eyre (24th July), Stereokicks (25th July), Sigma (31st July), Rizzle Kicks (1st August), Professor Green (7th August), Rixton (8th August), Wilkinson (14th August), DJ Fresh (15th August), Conor Maynard (21st August) and Union J (29thAugust).

In partnership with Universal Music, Global, the media and entertainment group, and Showcase Live, ISLAND BEATS, runs over eight weeks in summer.
