After the big reveal on the 1st of January 2017 by Chessington World Of Adventures; the public now know that what used to be Bubbleworks will in fact now be known as The Gruffalo River Ride. We have the full details below, including the 2017 TV Ad for Chessington.
What we know so far about The Gruffalo River Ride?
All that Chessington are prepared to separate with at this time is a short, but highly descriptive and deceptive, paragraph describing what the ride entails.
“Join Mouse on a magical riverboat journey through the deep dark wood. As you float down the lazy river, the world of The Gruffalo will magically unfold in front of your eyes, with exciting twists and turns along the way!” – Chessington World Of Adventures
The attraction will open one day after the park officially re-opens for the 2017 season on the 18th of March.
What does The Gruffalo River Ride look like?
As seen in the 2017 Chessington World Of Adventures TV advertisement, the ride’s artistic work for the design inside has been used to make a preview of what it will be like. Below is the advert:

Not only will Chessington introduce this exciting new ride, they have also re-vamped some of their resort rooms to be themed around The Gruffalo! Not only will the rooms make you feel immersed in the words with The Gruffalo but you will also get exclusive park extra’s when you stay in one the specially themed rooms.

- Watch The Gruffalo animated films while immersed in your magical room
- Beat the queues with Fastrack access to the rides for the whole family including The Gruffalo River Ride Adventure
